It is hours before we head out on our adventure. Although Marie's son, Joe will be 4 tomorrow, we celebrated his birthday yesterday with some of the family. Marie, Jeff & Joe arrived last night. Michelle picked up my new grandchildren (puppies: Juan and Rita) and brought them over yesterday afternoon. Mark graced us with his presence, and Rob, Suzie and Sandy all came too. Mike, Amy, Elizabeth and Eric will all meet us at Julia and Ed's wedding. We're all so excited to see the whole family before we embark on this journey.
We're almost done packing and doing the other necessary preparations to head out tomorrow afternoon.
